This year, our school aim to promote intergenerational bonding through our SSDB project. The K1 children donned their signature orange SSDB hats and joined the launch party on 6th May 2024 (Monday).
At the launch party, each K1 class had the opportunity to take photographs at our SSDB Photo-wall, which is decorated with cute elderly-related cliparts.

Adding an element of fun, the children were provided with a buffet of quirky props that they could use for the photoshoot.
What’s a party without some fun?
Besides photo-taking, each of our K1 children also received a starter gift bag.
A small gift for everyone
Each gift bag contains a letter inviting families to take part in an integenerational activity. This activity encourages families to be involved in our meaningful project by documenting their child or ward spending quality time with their grandparents. Other contents in the gift bag include a reflection journal and stickers that the children can use to record their journey.
