In line with our theme “Stay safe, Dignify bonds”, the teachers discussed with the children ways they can stay safe during the current pandemic while maintaining the kampung spirit within the community. The N2s engaged in the Covid ABCs song in learning how to keep themselves safe. The K1s made paper dolls representing each of their unique selves wearing masks. These paper dolls formed a human chain holding hands, signifying the lasting bonds despite the pandemic. The K2s bonded in art by designing beautiful, vibrant paper masks over their portraits. Staying safe can be made fun too! Each class learnt and performed a song with regards to the current pandemic situation. After learning how to stay safe and displaying knowledge of the current situation, the children are ready to launch our “Start Small, Dream Big!” by dignifying bonds next!
