This year, PCF Sparkletots Preschool@ Woogrove Blk 364 embarked on the “Start Small Dream Big Project” to spread a simple, yet powerful message- “Be Kind To Others”.
Apart from the Centre’s staff, we garnered the help from children and their family members to create a unique ‘heart’ craft.
This collaborative project allows us to inspire people to show kindness and showcase our creativity.
On the submission day, the children did a show-and-tell on their masterpieces and elaborate on what kindness meant to them.
The children proceeded to paste their “hearts”, to form a big wall mural which we displayed proudly to the public. It is indeed symbolic as the final display reflects the start of our kindness project- “Fill Our Hearts With Kindness”.
On 28/4/2021, we launched our project with gusto and pride. Amid our excitement, the children engaged in small group activities as part of the safe distancing measures. The children had a fun and meaningful day by performing a “Kindness Dance”, watching an online video on “Kindness Day”, and completing a colouring/drawing activity.
We concluded the launch by getting children to take pictures with our special wall mural. This is important as the captured photographs represent the involvement of everybody’s efforts.
