To kickstart our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, the K2s learnt to identify electronic waste. Previously, they have only learnt about the more common recycable waste such as plastic, glass and metal. As we learnt more about e-waste, we have also recognised the harmful effects of e-waste in our environment.
From their newfound knowledge on e-waste, we have since started to collect e-waste to recycle and upcycle in the upcoming months. The children designed posters, banners and a robot using e-waste. These were placed outside the school in order to inform parents and the community around them on the beginning of their journey in recycling e-waste.
