For our Final Project for “Start Small Dream Big’, we collaborated with Foodbank SG. We aimed to impart to our children the value of giving and sharing not only to their families and friends but also to the community. We also did some activities to encourage children to reduce food wastage.
For school meals, children are given the right amount of food and are encouraged to finish it. Below are some pictures of our N2 to K2 children who happily received their stickers every time they finished eating.
The children worked together and shared ways to reduce food wastage. Well done kids!
Our parents from Toddler to K2 made the highlight of this project possible, as they donated their excess food items at home. We collated the food items, and the kids placed it neatly in a box. Hooray! A total of 9 boxes were delivered to Foodbank SG.
As for the Finale of this year’s ‘Start Small Dream Big’ project, the children shared what they learned in this learning journey through ‘Show and Tell’.
The children had fun and learned a lot throughout the ‘Start Small Dream Big’ period. It was a meaningful learning experience for everyone. So, we look forward to next year’s ‘SSDB.’ We will continue to work together and support this amazing project. See you next year! ❤️
