In July 2024, the children of Little Footprints Preschool Yishun 865 went to the National Gallery Singapore Museum for their learning journeys.
In conjunction with the Start Small Dream Big 2024 theme and partnership with Families for Life Singapore, the Kindergarten 1 and 2 children embarked on a tour of “Art and Family - We Grow Together as a Family” on 12th July 2024. They learnt about the different values of “Love, Care & Concern, Commitment and Respect” by looking at two artworks during the tour - Life by the River, and Village Scene. Children understand demonstrating these important values towards their family members after the tour. Afterwards, the Kindergarten 1 and 2 children visited the Keppel Centre of Art Education to engage with creative and sensorial art experience after the tour.
On 15th July 2024, the Playgroup and Pre-Nursery children also visited the National Gallery Singapore to spend time with their family members and peers at the Keppel Centre of Art Education to promote the theme of Family is Love. They interacted with their family members such as their mummy, daddy, grandparents along with peers and teachers while exploring the different sensorial experiences. The younger children were enthusiastic to share their thoughts and emotions with their families!
