Earth Day Celebration - Fashion Parade and Donation Drive
Presenting our Earth Day fashion parade whereby the children were dressed in costumes that were creatively created with recycled materials! It was amazing to see how both parents and children worked together to create wearable outfits from materials that were usually discarded or have lesser attention placed on them.
We also received an overwhelming response at the start of our donation drive. Both parents and children donated clothes, bags, toys, shoes and books. It was also shared to the children regarding how we can always pass items that we no longer need to others in need.
In relation to our theme, when it comes to the topic of the 3Rs, we would usually think of basic items like plastic, metal, paper etc. However, there are also other items which we overlooked. Therefore, the children were exposed to other items that they can recycle and reuse, apart from the usuals!
