Little Petal’s Family Day
On 29th June 2024, Little Petals Preschool celebrated Family Day with an event filled with joy, appreciation, and fun-filled activities. The event aimed to strengthen bonds between children and their families, emphasising gratitude and enjoyment together.
The highlight of the day was a heartfelt performance by the children, PG - K2 who sang songs and showcased dances dedicated to their parents and grandparents. This expression of love and appreciation set a heartwarming tone for the entire event.
After the performance, children also surprised their fathers with caps designed and decorated by themselves. Children wore the cap for their fathers and it was an extremely heartwarming sight. Not forgetting our mothers, our little ones surprised their mothers with a hand-cream that they handmade from scratch with their teachers during mother’s day. The little ones massaged their mothers’ hand.
Following the special surprise, the children engaged in an exciting scavenger hunt across the park. They eagerly searched for different locations and, in the spirit of adventure, sought out a mystery person who held special cards created by the children for their grandparents. This activity not only encouraged teamwork but also added an element of surprise and delight.
Throughout the day, the children were treated to various attractions including balloon sculptors who crafted intricate designs, and a refreshing array of ice cream and beverages. These activities brought smiles to the faces of all attendees, young and old alike.
In line with promoting responsibility and environmental consciousness, each child from Little Petals received a pair of gloves in their goody bags. This thoughtful inclusion aimed to instil a sense of responsibility by encouraging them to clean up after themselves during the event, fostering good habits and care for the environment early on.
Overall, Family Day 2024 was a resounding success, fostering a sense of togetherness and appreciation among families. It provided memorable experiences that celebrated the bonds between children, parents, and grandparents, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
