Last month, we kickstarted our first SSDB project - making eco-enzyme from scratch! 🤩
We just needed 3 simple ingredients:
-
Food/vegetable scraps
-
Brown sugar
-
Water
We dissolved the sugar into water, and placed the scraps in it. The bottle was then sealed off to ferment for at least 3 months.
As the eco-enzyme is made from natural or organic materials such as fruits, vegetables and plants, they help break down organic and food waste into smaller and less harmful molecules. Besides using it as a cleaning solution, the eco-enzyme is also a versatile liquid that can be used as a natural fertiliser and an effective pesticide 💦 Let’s all do our part together to create a healthier Earth! 🌎
