As part of this term’s theme, “Who Do I Share the World With?”, the children in MOE Kindergarten @ Junyuan have learnt about the importance of developing a positive attitude towards the environment around them. They have also learnt about how Singapore is a city in a garden, and the do’s and don’ts when visiting parks and gardens. Thereafter, they had the opportunity to explore and observe insects and spiders to learn about their characteristics.
Hence, as part of their take-home activity, the children were invited to create 3-dimensional models of insects and/or spiders using craft and recycled materials (e.g., play dough, toilet rolls, egg cartons, etc.).
