As part of our SSDB Project, children and teachers started bringing in various recycled materials such as egg trays, toilet rolls, plastic bottles and others. These recycled materials came in handy for teachers when planning their lessons and teaching resources. As seen in the photos, learning resources were made from toilet rolls, cardboard boxes and even chocolate box! This initiative has taught the children the importance of recycling and how these items can be made into something meaningful for their learning. It was really a new experience for me to use a wide range of recycled materials to create my teaching resources. It is happy to see that we can create our own resources which is cost-efficient.
