During the circuit breaker period (April-May), we discussed about the importance of the roles of different people who work in the essential services such as the healthcare workers, delivery workers, supermarket personnel, public transport personnel, farm workers, food vendors, home team and cleaning services.
We discussed about ways we can show our care and appreciation to these people’s efforts and sacrifices to keep us safe from COVID-19 virus and to keep things going for everyone.
We engaged our children through our virtual sessions and with the support of the parents to express Tyne it appreciation through their artwork. Our children produced a variety of artworks with the guidance of teachers and the support of parents to express their appreciation to all the frontliners and essential workers during this challenging times.
