During music and movement, the children listen to the song ‘You are my Sunshine’. When the children were asked ‘To whom they would like to dedicate this song to?’ they answered that it is for their grandparents. The lyrics ‘You are my sunshine, my only sunshine’ means that, sunshine is from the sun and it’s important to all of us. The children said that it gives us light, energy and vitamins. They associated it to the love from their grandparents. The song kept the children engaged in movement and made them realise the importance of Grandparents.
