On 15th April, My First Skool @ Tampines Blk 487C had the SSDB launch party at out very own garden which is located just outside the school premises. The teachers from different classes took turns to bring the children to the garden to do some gardening on a weekly basis. The children learned to take care of the plants and in the process identified the needs of a plant in order for it to grow well. The children used their five senses to observe the characteristics of the plants and recorded their growth and changes. Through this project, the children learned on the importance of planting as plants provide us with oxygen, food and shelter.
