As much as we care for the children, we also value the support and efforts of parents working with us in bringing their children up. And we do this by conducting a special day where parents can celebrate and spend precious moments with their kids while taking part in enjoyable activities that promote harmony and friendship among parents.
We celebrated Parents’ Day on the 25th May. The K1 class representative’s welcome remarks warmed up and charmed the audience. Various performances added to the enjoyable atmosphere of this extremely memorable day. Children came up with a song performance. The children sang harmoniously for their parents. It was also more entertaining when the children performed a zumba dance with their parents. They showcased their dancing skills by grooving with their hands and hips to the tune of “Old McDonald Had a Farm” A quiz is further provided to the parents in order to keep them actively engaged with the program. They had a fantastic time playing “Guess the song or movie” on Kahoot. They also made sandwiches and tea, which the kids loved.
On top of that, the children gave their artworks to their parents as an expression of their sincere adoration and appreciation. While receiving their children’s artworks, the parents showed their excitement expressively.
Everyone had an amazing time with the various games, song and dance performances, and gift-giving.
As this year’s Parents’ Day came to an end, families went home exhausted but incredibly thankful for having the chance of celebrating a special day all at once. Everybody was hopeful for more times like this in the years to come.
