Today, we celebrate Singapore’s 57th birthday by immersing the children in Singapore’s Hawker Culture. Our hawker culture is an intangible cultural heritage, and children are treated to a hawker dining experience in school. We ended the day with a childhood treat, Potong ice cream! In addition, teachers, children and families kick off the “I Pledge” campaign initiated by our NDP committee by writing down our wishes for Singapore.
