The Singapore Kindness Movement aims to encourage everyone to start, show and share kindness. We aspire to inspire graciousness, one kind act at a time by sparing a thought for the people around us. Skool4kidz celebrated Singapore Kindness Day on the 31st May 2019. The celebration started with a role play presentation by the teachers from Preppy Learners to the Ready Skoolers with the following: “Greeting others and Giving a compliment”, “Being kind to an elderly people” and “Stopping a bully”. Everyone was entertained and learnt the moral lesson of the different presentation.
A short video about “Respect” was shown to the children and they learnt that respecting others means treating others in a way that they wanted to be treated. Finally, the celebration ended with a song titled “Kindness” and all the children showcased their creativity through their crafts. Kindness Day celebration in school was truly a great success because everyone had fun and learnt the virtue of being kind to everyone.
