Children discussed of the danger of covid19 to old people. They understand that old people are more vulnerable and easier to get sick.
The children discussed using KWL chart on the issue of incident in Lee Ah Moi Home and extended the discussion on what they can do to show care and protect old people.
Hand sanitizers can be helpful to reduce the risk of catching certain virus. Children discussed on the use of ‘sanitizer’ and the correct way of using it. They also talked about the ingredient used in making sanitizer and whom they want to give these sanitizers.
The children discussed and came to an aggreement that they will make sanitizer together and give it as a gift to the senior centre which is located nearby the school. Children also prepared a card for the Seniors wishing them good health.
The children were engaged during the activity and were thrilled that their sanitizers will be sent to the Senior Care Centre and be of great use to the Seniors.
