As part of the Centre’s efforts to promote water conservation, children from Playgroup to Kindergarten 2 have participated in a water rationing activity.
Prior to the activity, the children were tasked to bring 2 litre bottles of water to school. Then, using these bottles of water, they were tasked to ration it out during their shower time.
The Playgroup children enjoyed participating in this activity. They had a lot of fun showering with the rationed water.
The Nursery 2 children also got to experience showering with their rationed water. Here are their thoughts:
Reydon: “The water is so cold!”
Khalilah: “I need to be careful not to waste it so that I still got enough water to wash my hair.”
Faith: “I learn that we cannot waste water when we shower!”
The Nursery 1 & Kindergarten 2 children also enjoyed the experience of participating in this activity.
Joy: “Last time, peope shower like this because they don’t have a water heater!”
Jordan: “I enjoy showering like this.”
The K1 children also enjoyed the experience of showering with the rationed water. Great effort shown on the water rationing activity, children!
