As a conclusion to our project on Food Waste Management, we have worked with Food Bank Singapore to bring to our children and parents a carnival that promises lots of fun-filled activites and games. It will be the largest scale carnival that we have done so far and will exude major carnival feels with the popcorn and cotton candy machines live-churning freshly made snacks, as well as a good ol’ photo booth station that gives you a nostalgic sense of phototaking using polaroids! Not to forget finger foods, floats and many more!
Our children will also be having their own craft sales where artworks that they have handmade with love will be displayed at the craft sales booth, waiting to be bought. For that, our Teachers and children showed off their creativity and heart of compassion as they got together to make artworks worthy of the buyer’s money.
All proceeds from the carnival will be donated to Food Bank Singapore and they will also be having a north with us for food collection. Also at the same time, we have our revered guest of honour, Mr Charles Chong who will be gracing our event, and representing us on the cheque presentation to the Food Bank Singapore.
Sounds like an exciting event brewing! 😉
