Furthermore, in addition to the aforementioned aspects, K1 and K2 children were introduced to various tools employed to assist children with special needs in communication, including Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices. As part of the sharing session, K1 and K2 children had the valuable opportunity to firsthandly engage with AAC devices, utilizing them to convey their desires, such as the phrase “I want drink.”
4. Much like the diverse regulation techniques practiced by children within our school, those at CPAS also have designated ‘Calming Corners’ to retreat to whenever they experience negative emotions.
