On April 23rd 2021, Our centre SBK Potong Pasir launched our SSDB Project titled Minimizing food wastage starts from ME.
Our project is about enabling children to understand the importance of food and not to waste it.
We will be working with the Preschool Market to help raise funds for Helping Joy.
We aim to raise awareness among children and thier families on how food wastage has impacted the world.
Children and thier families were encouraged to write pledge cards on how they can minimize food wastage.
The children visited the Hay Dairies goat farm and had a firsthand experience on how goats milk is produced. This trip helps the children to understand that getting the milk from the goat was a long process and therefore they must not waste milk.
Children learned on the importance of food processing and learned on the food production chain.
