'Saving Wildlife, One Animal at a Time!' 💚🦭 (Fundraiser for Pedro) - Part 1

The children worked hard to prepare for our fundraiser for Pedro the Sealion - ‘Saving Our Wildlife, One Animal at a Time’. We first discussed how we could help keep our waters clean for Pedro through the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). With prompting, the children shared that they would like to design their own tote bags so that we can reduce the use of plastic waste.

We got our materials and started creating the tote bags. Children from all levels participated actively in painting the design, with the teacher’s help we also added meaningful messages like ‘Save the Animals’!

Moreover, the children shared that they would like to create keychains to add to the bag. We discussed how we would like to design it and agreed on a ‘We Love Earth’ keychain, with a beautiful heart in the middle painted by the children!

The children had fun desiging the tote bags with their peers and were excited to showcase their creativity to their parents for the fundraiser! 💚🦭

Stay tuned for Part 2!
