April 2023:
Hello! We are Nursery 1A children from E-Bridge Preschool@Dawson (2023). We embarked on SSDB (Start Small Dream Big) project with the intention to explore environmental sustainability through different learning experiences.
It began with our Earth Day event, where we learnt about the importance of saving and caring our earth. We experienced in outdoor scavengers to hunt for the objects relating to natural environment. We also explored making own earth model using green and blue play dough (blue colour to represent ocean; green colour to represent land).
May 2023:
A few weeks later, our teachers planned a workshop conducted by Woods in The Book to show us how a picture book is made. We learnt about caring for environment and how we can make our home a better place through a meaningful storytelling session. Beside that, we also participated in an interesting art and craft session to create an Earth craft using some recyclable and art materials.
