We will be focusing on Caring for Animals for the rest of our SSDB Project 2021. We have introduced this topic to the children and we have started to brainstorm the different needs of the pets. Children came up with many types of pets and their different needs. They begin to understand that it is not an easy task to own a pet. In fact, it is a huge responsibility that they will take on once they decide to own a pet. Teachers have discussed several incidences that pets were abandoned when the owners are no longer able to look after them. With this topic, the children created a mind map and discussed the habitats, food and characteristics.
