From 11-14 July, we launched our ‘Recycle Week’, highlighting the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and keeping our environment clean. Through videos, songs and stories, the children had a better understanding on the importance of 3Rs and how they can apply what they learnt in their daily lives.
During the week-long program, the children together with their family members, collected recylable materials and brought them to school. These materials were then sorted and re-used for creating art-and-craft work. Parents were also encouraged to work with their child to make 3D crafts using recyclable materials available in their homes as a home-link activity.
