The children, teachers and parents were informed a month before of the SSDB virtual launch party that was to be held. As we discussed and decided to work on the theme of ‘road safety’, the children and teachers were informed to create materials related to road safety. These materials will then be displayed around the school for the SSDB Virtual Launch Party. The children were gathered and were informed about creating these materials and were asked about the various materials that they would like to create using recycled materials. They began suggesting and throwing out ideas such as traffic lights, road signs, ERP board etc. The parents were also involved in the preparation of the Virtual Lauch Party by guiding and facilitating the children to draw pictures or write to encourage road safety on the Star provided in the resource package.
