As the SSDB gradually drawing to a close, our centre has meticulously planned the final event, featuring three engaging skits on basic first aid and dance performances to various songs at our collaborating senior care centre, PCF Sparklecare@ Eunos Blk 650.
In the month leading up to the visit, our group of K2 children devoted their time in learning and memorizing their lines with enthusiasm. They also practiced the necessary actions for each skit on the simple first aid practices, ensuring they could perform confidently.
They were applying their knowledge on the three simple first aid pratices to the elderlies.
First, choking
Second, bandaging
Lastly, CPR and AED usage
To mark our SSDB finale, the children sang and dance to “What a Wonderful World with sign language and National Day Dance “Not Alone”.
The day concluded with an exchange of tokens of appreciation between our children and the staff and elders of the centre. Both the children and elderlies enjoyed the interactive activities, benefiting from the educational experience and embracing first aid practices.
We are thrilled with the success of this event and eager to see what future will unfold as we continue to nurture our values of care and community involvement.
