Teachers and children of PCF sparkletots preschool decided to embark on a mission to show kindness and appreciation to family members and people around the community.
On 25th July 2018, the teachers and children headed over to Bukit Panjang interchange to spread kindness and words of encouragement to community workers such as the Bus Captain, the toilet cleaners and the security officer who was guarding the Hillion Mall.
The children handed out small tokens of appreciation to the Bus Captains in their lounge. The children then went around the interchange to hand out notes and door hangers with positive words of encouragement and reminders to be kind to everyone written and decorated personally by them.
The children gave out the notes and door hangers with smiles and verbalize positive greetings to random commuters. The children enjoyed their day at the interchange very much as they observed and experienced firsthand how little kind gestures can put a smile on another person’s face and instantly brighten up their day!
