Children were introduced about Planet Earth and ways to take care of her.
They shared their knowledge on the different things found on Earth such as living as non-living things.
Children were able to name and classify living and non-living things and name them during the discussion session. During the discussion, children named examples of living things such as humans, plants and animals and non-living things such as vehicles, furnitures and materials that can be found in the environment.
After the large group discussion, children had discussions in smaller groups where they shared ways on how to take good care of Mother Earth. Some examples include, saving paper, electricity, water and food.
Children also learnt about water and air pollution, deforestation and consumption of plastic materials and its effect to the environment .
