As part of this year’s SSDB theme: “Many helping hands, Caring for everyone”, our focused sub theme was “Caring for our community”. Our committee team of teachers discussed and came up with the tagline, “A caring heart makes a beautiful world”.
This year is a little special as we engaged with our parents in creating the banner. The teachers and parents brainstormed on the creation of the banner with the tagline in depth. A few ideas and suggestions includes:

Volunteering at elderly homes

Raising funds/donations for the less fortunate

Befriending people with disabilities and inclusitivity

Celebrating diversity
Parents also discussed on the materials and the images to be drawn at the banner and formed a rough plan. Parents thereafter met up with the teachers on a few other occasions and worked on the banner to completion!
