Our next step was to reach out to the community at large and thus a visit to St Luke’s Eldercare Daycare at Tampines St 11 was organised for the K1 and K2 children with their parents. The activities prepared included a song performance, seated exercise and snack sharing with the residents. Another activity was hands tracing of the residents on coloured papers. As the children took the hands of the residents gently to be traced, there was some level of bonding between them.
