The following weeks after planting the seedlings, with the care of watering and sunlight, the vegetables has grown and are ready to be harvested! With the supervision and guidance of teachers, children harvested the vegetables by cutting the stem of the plants and picking up the vegetable leaves.
Everyone has some vegetables to bring home on that special day! Children also presented a packet of vegetables to our community partners.
Our K2 friends also shared their experiences in this gardening project.
Though we have come to an end to our project, we will continue to make use of the planting resources to grow different variety of plants.
