In line with the theme on SSDB 2022 “Our family, Our community”, MOE Kindergarten @ Zhenghua aims to nurture value of “Kindness” in our children. We would like our children to discover kindness, realise the importance and how kindness can positively impact their relationship with people around them.
Our children were introduced to JangandFox comic strips, which are specially crafted in collaboration with Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. These adorable comic strips shared about attributes such as love, courtesy and honesty which are different forms of Kindness.
Our children first analysed the meaning of the comic strips. They then practised using the courtesy words learnt through fun and engaging role-play. Finally, they discussed how they could expressed kindness through their actions in their daily lives.
We hope our children can internalised the value of Kindess and weave Kindness into their interaction with people around them!
