From the previous story, the children had shared their curiosities and their understanding of Down Syndrome.
Representing the Down Syndrome Association of Singapore, Ms Sulyanna had wonderfully prepared information for us the next week! An awareness talk was organised for the children as well as the parents. It was held separately to allow a developmentally appropriate content for the children and the parents.
After the talk, the Teachers facilitated the children interaction and gave ample opportunities for them to have back and forth exchanges over their views and changed perspectives.
