This June, we partner with Singapore Kindness Movement to conduct a workshop for parents on character education.
Research has shown that parental involvement in children’s education from an early age significantly affects educational achievement and, more importantly, their social and emotional development. Parents are a child’s first and most significant role models. They continue to be their role models as they grow up, influencing and shaping their children’s personalities and attitudes through adolescence and adulthood.
In the one-hour session, the parents learned the importance of kindness, ways to imbue kindness and how to raise wise digital citizens.
It was a fruitful session!
