In connection with this year’s theme on Community, our K2 stars brainstormed for ideas on how they can give back to society! Their bright and giving minds came up with the idea of a neighbourhood clean-up, to lend a helping hand to our community cleaners who work tirelessly to keep our neighbourhood clean! The children doned their hats, brought some trash bags and went hunting for all the trash around the neighbourhood! The children shared their thoughts on how they are so appreciative of community cleaners, as this is no easy job! They also shared that they learnt to be more mindful of where and how they dispose their trash! The children thoroughly enjoyed the activity, and gained invaluable experiences of empathy through this activity!
