This is our first year our centre is participating in SSDB and we are partnering with the eldercare centre to bring joy and happiness to the elderly residents. Due to current situation, the children will not be able to visit the elderly physically. Instead, the K1 and K2 children will plan a series of monthly engagement programme via video conference.
The first meet up with St Luke’s Eldercare will be on 11th August to celebrate National Day together. The event is planned by K2-Bluebell class and there will be various activities, such as work out session, song and dance by the children.
In the spirit of giving, there will also be fun packs given to all the residents and staff of the centre. The children from Playgroup to K1 have chipped in to help with the packing and our parent support group were also roped in to help with the preparation work.
Through these series of events, we hope our children will live up to our our SSDB theme - “pass the love on”. We hope to see the children with big hearts and willing to bring joy and happiness to others.
