We are excited to share our launch of the SSDB 2024 Project, continuing the success of last year’s initiative and making it even more meaningful for our children. This year, we are proud to further promote our long-standing Intergenerational Programme by partnering with NTUC Health.
Our theme for this year, “Think Sustainable, Act Responsibly, Stronger Together as a Community,” underscores our commitment to making a positive impact on our environment and society. We launched our project on May 15, 2024, at NTUC Health, where teachers and children created eco-games and engaged seniors in meaningful activities.
Building on last year’s theme, we are focusing on community partnership to raise awareness of its importance. This year, we are emphasising volunteerism, and we are delighted to have parents join us in this significant journey.
In the coming weeks, we will be conducting various fundraising activities to support sustainability. We will be using recycled materials and organising upcycling activities with the children. The money raised will be converted into supermarket vouchers, and parents will accompany seniors from NTUC Health on grocery runs.
