As Mother’s Day fell on the 8th of May, we have planned a small celebration in school for the children to prepare a little something for their Mothers. We celebrated Mother’s Day on the 6th of May and also reminded children about the importance of their Mothers in their lives. Children have also shared with the class what they love about their Mother. Some said they love it when their Mother cooks for them or when their Mother plays with them. It was indeed very heartwarming to hear the responses from the children and how they really adore their parents. During our celebration in school, children have listened to a story about what they can do to prepare for Mother’s Day. The children have also prepared a little performance and a small gift for their Mothers which we recorded and sent to all of their Mother on Mother’s Day.
