The month of May was filled with fun activities organized for the children, parents and our community partners.
On 12th May, we invited mummies and grandmothers for a Hi-Tea session in school. Children dedicated a song and dance for Mother’s Day. They took this opportunity to make a sandwich for their grandmothers too. Children also had fun playing relay games with their loved ones.
On 24th May 2023, our K2 children met the elders from All Saints Home to celebrate Hari Raya. Children did ketupat weaving art with the elders. The children performed confidently to the song “Rasa Sayang” and “I Love You” for them. Older adults enjoyed the performances as they clapped along.
Little effort goes a long way! We are grateful that children are learning to be more appreciative towards the people around them.
Through this intergenerational programme, children got the opportunity to speak confidently and bond with them.
We are looking forward to planning another round of activities the following month!
