It’s Racial Harmony Day! To celebrate the diversity around us and appreciate another’s culture, the school put together a mini carnival of performances, games and food. Each class put up a simple song and dance performance and prepared simple snacks showcasing the culture of their choice. To add more fun to the event, the Kindergarten children design games such as Dropping Zig Zag, Toss the Ring and Throwing the Pingpong (the games were named and prepared by the children).
Children and their families had a great time bonding with one another over dinner and participating in the games! It has been a great opportunity for staff and families to come together, to learn about one another’s culture and to encourage respect and appreciation of the similarities and differences through fun-filled night as well!
