On June 29th, the children visited the elderly at Fei Yue Active Aging Centre at Hougang Dew Court. During the visit, the children performed two songs for the elderly, one in English and the other in Mandarin.
After the performances, the children presented them with a stalk of rose that they made using filter papers. Following that, the children collaborated with the elderly to create an art piece using the tie-dye technique. The children assisted by tying the fabric with rubber bands and pouring paint into ziplock bags. Smiles adorned the faces of both the elderly and the children throughout the activity.
