As a closure to the project, the K1 and K2 children visited the Orange Valley Nursing Home at Marsiling. The children staged a performance of one English song and one Chinese song for the elders. After the performance, the children were given an opportunity to interact and bond with the elders through an art and craft session. The children had an enjoyable time painting with the elderly. They shared about their favourite animals, colours and many other things. After the session, the children shared that they loved spending time with the elders as it made them happy to see the elders happy. They also mentioned that they would like to come back to help the elders… Children are certainly little hands with big hearts. ❤️
