The closest thing to being cared for is to care for someone else - Carson McCullers
Together with their peers, the K2 children made some jelly for the elderlies at the elder care. Instead of the initial planning of preparing mint tea, the children decided to make jelly as they felt that jelly ‘is soft and the elderlies will be fuller’!
First, they measure the amount of water to be added to the jelly powder to dissolve it.
Next, they stir the mixture to ensure that there is no residue.
Lastly, they pour the mixture into mini plastic container. The containers are then placed into the refrigerator.
Children enjoyed making the jelly as they are engaged in the process from start to end. They are also amazed to see the powder turned into jelly form. Overall, it was an educating and interactive activity.Read our previous stories here!
