This is the first time the K2 children of PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Limbang Blk 567 (CC) are participating in the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) 2017 project.
On 1 June 2017, our centre held our first SSDB launch party in the morning. We started by explaining to children our goals of the project: to play an active and positive role in showing love and care to our community.
We get our children to brainstorm what they can do to show love and care for the community. After much discussion, majority of the children would like to work together with the elderly. They then craft their ideas into mindmap and decided as a class to visit the elderly care near our centre. Some of the children even suggested to cook for them!
After the launch, children are more aware of the objectives and their roles in the project. They pledged their commitment in working together as a team of little ambassadors to help create a difference in the community.
