Little Footprints @ Jurong East 248 Start Small Dream Big Finale 2024

After discovering the animals that belong in the wild and should not be kept as pets, the children of LFP Jurong East 248 seized the opportunity to partner with ACRES in their “Wild But Not Free” advocacy campaign. They aimed to raise awareness about illegal wildlife trading, emphasizing the importance of caring for animals rather than exploiting them for profit.

To support this cause, the children promoted ACRES merchandise. They actively modelled and showcased the products. Here is the children’s catalogue.

Through these efforts, they successfully helped ACRES raise funds for animals rescued from illegal trading and those currently under their care.

The children took great pride in their accomplishments and felt joyful to be recognized as animal heroes.

Thank you Mr. Beng (ACRES Representative )

Looking back on their journey since last year, the children of LFP Jurong East 248 realized that although they had started small, their dreams had grown big. They had made a significant difference in the lives of countless animals and had sown the seeds of awareness and empathy in their community. Their story became a testament to the power of collective action and the impact that even the youngest among us can have when they dream big and work together.
