In collaboration with Animal Concern and Research Education Society, the children learned how we can happily live with animals.
Last 19 August 2023 (Saturday), the children displayed their various animal crafts and books for sale. The kindergarten 2 students created labels and price tags, and facilitated the event as part of their “Young Entrepreneurship Programme”.
Each craft has a QR code that will show important information about the animal such as where can we find them, what they eat, and an advisory on what we can do when we encounter them.
The children also prepared their SSDB Learning Journey Wall to show the parents the various activities they did during the project.

How did the parents participate? They followed these simple steps.
After collecting their coupons, everyone enjoyed going around the different booths to buy different items. Here are some pictures:
The children were very glad as all the items they had put up for sale were purchased. They were seen happily arranging the coupons they have collected.
A total of $900 was donated to our partnered organization - Animal Concern and Research Education Society (ACRES) on that day.
“It was a fruitful day!” shared one of the parents. Indeed, it was another day of fun and purposeful experience for everyone.
Thank you to all the parents who have supported us and donated for the event. Let’s continue to do our part for a happy and loving community with our dear animal friends. #SSDB2023 #LFPJE248 #ManyHelpingHandsCaringForEveryone
