The children from Nobleland Arts N Learning Place @Punggol began our SSDB journey by learning about sustainability, focusing on using natural scents instead of perfumes to enhance the aroma of a space.
They visited Jacob Ballas Garden, where they learned to use natural, biodegradable materials like pandan leaves and lemongrass instead of synthetic, non-biodegradable alternatives.
This experience helped them understand the environmental benefits of using natural resources. The children noted that the pandan leaves had a sweet and pleasant smell. The teacher also explained that using natural scents reduces the need for artificial fragrances, which often contain chemicals harmful to the environment and human health.
Let’s make a scented bag together!
