Rooting for a greener future: Keeping our neighbourhood clean!
To wrap it up, we extended our SSDB project to our neighbourhood! Children had a discussion in class about what they can do for our neighbourhood. Children then came up with the idea of going around our neighbourhood to pick litter off the ground!
Children understood why we have to keep our neighbourhood clean and litter-free. They explained that other living things such as animals can fall sick if they consume dirty items. They also explained that animals could get hurt if they get trapped in the rubbish found on the ground.
Children enjoyed their time picking up the litter and keeping the neighbourhood clean!
